Pran Mehra

Pran Mehra created an everlasting impact to Indian cinema by revolutionizing the role that an editor plays in the movie making business. Over his illustrious 30+ years career he edited over 60 films including super hits like Naya Daur (1957), Kanoon (1960), Gumrah (1963), Waqt (1965), Deewar (1975), Kabhi Kabhie (1976) and The Burning Train (1980) to name a few. He won numerous awards for film editing including the Filmfare Award for Best Editing for his work in Gumrah.
